SELECTORIZED
EQUIPMENT
Developed
by Arthur Jones (inventor of Nautilus), MedX equipment is
the most technologically advanced fitness, sports and
medical/rehabilitation equipment available.
The
capabilities of MedX equipment are unprecedented.
Each piece in the product line is designed to achieve
efficiency in training by offering resistance curves matched to
tested and proven strength profiles.
MedX strength-training machines operate at a very low level
of friction and offer a choice of resistance in 2 pound
increments. This
maximizes a members chances of setting a weight that is just
right, not too heavy and no too light, for rapid and steady
progress.
Every
element of the machine drive train is designed to achieve vertical
weight stack movement of only one foot on a full-range repetition,
about half of what other equipment produces.
Reducing inertia enhances safety.
By
eliminating friction, inducing weight stack rods, lowering inertia
by shortening weight stack vertical travel to one foot, and using
ball bearings throughout the machine, repetitions on MedX
equipment have a smoothness that can't be matched.
